The Founder

I am a Singaporean and a first-time entrepreneur. After taking a 3-year career break, I have just started this new business venture as the founder and co-owner of LANOS.  Prior to this, I have served as a parent volunteer and as the chairperson of the Parent Association at Overseas Family School in Singapore between 2007-2017.

 

Starting LANOS has been like a dream come true for me and LANOS is my name spelt Inside Out in case you were wondering !!

 

I’ve always wanted to work for myself and create something that is meaningful. During the COVID19 lockdown period and the weeks and months post that, my husband Kaushal and I have been working overtime and late nights on creating and opening www.lanos.sg to make it everyone’s favourite online gift shop in Singapore, especially if you are struggling for gift ideas or looking for a last minute gift. 

 

I was born in India, raised by my family who migrated 6 generations ago to Muscat (Sultanate of Oman). I was brought up and educated at LE ROSEY in Switzerland. I have a Diploma in Montessori methods and in my earlier career, I have worked as a Montessori teacher at Casa Bambino Montessori school in Mumbai (India) during 1996-2006 before moving to Singapore. I have a passion to connect with people and a good taste in picking almost anything from pots and crafts, to clothes and gifts. I have been keen to become an entrepreneur and to work for myself in this stage of my life and am grateful to have thought about creating LANOS.
